Our story

A daara devoted to excellence

The An’Nudjum – The Stars Centre of Excellence is a French-Islamic school dedicated to educating young Muslims. Our mission: to offer a setting where Quranic tradition meets modern teaching methods.

A day at the daara

A steady rhythm and caring discipline, from dawn to night.

    The day starts early, in calm.

    Quran session

    Memorisation and recitation with the teachers.

    National curriculum lessons

    Academic teaching in class.

    Healthy meals served at set times.

    Revision and activities

    Homework, Quran revision, community life.

    Bedtime

    Enough sleep to learn well.

Caring education

Corporal punishment is strictly forbidden. Only educational sanctions are used.

Health care

No self-medication: any treatment requires a medical prescription.

Safety

Mobile phones and dangerous objects are not allowed on the premises.

Children go home to their families on the last weekend of every month.

A campus designed for excellence: mosque, classrooms, boarding house, multi-sport court, vegetable garden, fish farming and an animal area, surrounded by a belt of fruit trees. The project is at the sketch stage: explore it in 3D.

Admission

Enrol your child in 3 steps

Children aged 6 to 7 are admitted. Enrolment and re-enrolment take place every year in October; paying the registration fee completes the admission.

  • 1 birth certificate extract
  • 2 recent passport photos
  • 1 medical certificate of good health
  • The completed and signed registration form
